Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2002 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Department of Public Works, Business Operations Division, Forestry Section", add footnote "X/" after the title "Urban Forestry Manager" and add footnote "X/" as follows: "X/ Private auto allowance may be paid pursuant to Section 350-183 of the Milwaukee Code to one position filled by Joan Perkins until she vacates her position."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Assessor's Office, Systems and Administration Division", delete one position of "Office Assistant II" and add one position of "Office Assistant III."
Part 3. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 010468 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Health Department, Administration, Epidemiology Section", Move the "Bioterrorism Grant (Q)" to "Disease Control and Prevention Division" immediately preceeding the section "Home Environmental Health Division" and delete one position of "Microbiologist III (Q)(GG)" and add one position of "Microbiologist III (Q)", one position of "Molecular Microbiologist (Q)" and one position of "LIS/QA Technical Specialist (Q)" and amend footnote "(Q)" as follows: "To expire 08/31/03 unless the Bioterrorism Grant is extended" and delete footnote "(GG)"; Under "Congenital Disorders Grant (O)", delete one position of "Public Health Nurse Supervisor (X)(O)", one position of "Office Assistant II(O)" and add one position of "Public Health Nurse Supervisor .75 FTE (X)(O)" and two positions of "Office Assistant II .6 FTE (O)" and amend footnote "(O)" as follows: "(O) To expire 06/30/03 unless the Congenital Disorders Grant is extended. Also funds .5 of a Clinic Assistant position and .15 FTE of a Public Health Nurse"; Under "Disease Control and Prevention Division" add the title "Urban Air Toxics Grant (XX)" and add one position of "Environmental Hygenist(XX)(VV)(X)" add footnotes "(XX)" and "(VV)" as follows: "(XX) to expire 06/30/03 unless the Urban Air Toxics Grant is extended. The West Nile Virus Surveillance Grant also funds a portion of the Environmental Hygenist position" and "(VV) To expire 09/30/03 unless the West Nile Virus Surveillance is extended. .5 FTE of the Environmental Hygenist position funded by the Urban Air Toxics Grant."
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
