Title
Substitute motion relating to the locations of various Milwaukee County Transit System bus stops.
Analysis
This motion eliminates existing bus stops at various locations throughout the city. It also authorizes the establishment of new bus stops at various locations throughout the city.
Body
It is moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following bus stops are eliminated:
1. West Lincoln Avenue, eastbound, at South 37th Street (southwest corner of intersection).
2. East Burleigh Street, westbound, at North Richards Street (northwest corner of intersection). Note: Stop is being relocated to northeast corner of intersection of Burleigh and Richards.
3. North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive, northbound, at east right-of-way line of North 7th Street. Note: Stop is being relocated to concrete traffic island approximately 300 feet to the north.
4. North Green Bay Avenue, northbound, on the concrete traffic island located on the east side of the intersection of North Green Bay Avenue and the on-ramp to eastbound West Silver Spring Drive. on the concrete pad located approximately 60 feet north of the north line of the on-ramp to eastbound West Silver Spring Drive. Note: Stop is being relocated to the concrete pad located approximately 60 feet north of the north line of the on-ramp to eastbound West Silver Spring Drive.

It is further moved, That the establishment of new bus stops at the following locations is authorized:
1. North Broadway, southbound, approximately 40 feet south of the south right-of-way line of East Ogden Avenue extended.
2. East Juneau Avenue, westbound, at North Water Street (northeast corner of intersection).
3. West Juneau Avenue, westbound, at North Old World Third Street (northeast corner of intersection).
4. West Juneau Avenue, eastbound, approximately 80 feet east of the east right-of-way line of North 6th Street.
5. West Juneau Avenue, eastbound, approximately 60 feet east of the east right-of-way line of North Old World Third Street.
6. East Juneau Avenue, eastbound, at North Water Street (southwest corner of intersection).
7. East Juneau Avenue, eastbound, approximately 55 feet east of the mid-block crosswalk between North Milwaukee Street and North Jackson Street.
8. East Juneau Avenue, westbound, approximately 5 feet east of the mid-block crosswalk between North Milwaukee Street and North Jackson Street.
9. East State Street, westbound, at North Van Buren Street (northeast corner of intersection).
10. North Prospect Avenue, northbound, from a point approximately 115 feet south of the south right-of-way line of East State Street extended to a point approximately 220 feet south of the south right-of-way line of East State Street extended.
11. North 5th Street, southbound, between the first two existing driveways south of West Clybourn Street.
12. West Wells Street, eastbound, between North 9th Street and North 10th Street.
13. South Lake Drive, northbound, on the concrete pad located approximately 250 feet south of South Lake Drive’s intersection with South Superior Street.
14. East Burleigh Street, westbound, at North Richards Street (northeast corner of intersection). Note: Stop is being relocated from northwest corner of intersection of Burleigh and Richards.
15. North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Drive, northbound, on concrete traffic island on east side of intersection of King Drive and North 7th Street. Note: Stop is being relocated from a location approximately 300 feet to the south.
16. North Green Bay Avenue, northbound, on the concrete pad located approximately 60 feet north of the north line of the on-ramp to eastbound West Silver Spring Drive. Note: Stop is being relocated from concrete traffic island on east side of intersection of North Green Bay Avenue and the on-ramp to eastbound West Silver Spring Drive.
