Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in

various parts of  the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Garfield Avenue from North 26^th Street to North 27^th Street on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

On the west side of North 26^th Street from West Garfield Avenue to a point 305 feet north on school days from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the south side of West North Avenue from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North 22^nd Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM, 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South Muskego Avenue from a point 80 feet north of West Merrill Street to a point 40 feet north thereof

On the north side of West Clinton Avenue from North 51^st Boulevard to a point 325 feet west

On South 13^th Street from West Waterford Avenue to a point 140 feet north

On South 13^th Street from West Waterford Avenue to a point 140 feet south

On the south side of West North Avenue from West Fond du Lac Avenue to North 22^nd Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM Monday through Friday

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to Half-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 91^st Street from West Adler Street to a point 90 feet south

Part 5.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On South 16^th Street from West Holt Avenue to West Ohio Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Except Sunday”

Part 6.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Jefferson Street from East Erie Street and East Corcoran Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday

On the east side of South 16^th Street from West Holt Avenue to West Ohio Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Except Sunday

Part 7.  Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of South 16^th Street from West Holt Avenue to West Ohio Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM Except Sunday

Part 8.  Section 101-23-4-h of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Michigan Street from North James Lovell Street to a point 95 feet east from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Saturday and Sunday

Part 9.  Section 101-23-8-c of the Code relating to Taxi Stands is amended by striking the following:

“On the north side of West Michigan Street from a point 25 feet east of the east curb line of North 7^th Street to a point 65 feet thereof (3 cabs)”

“On the north side of West Michigan Street from a point 50 feet east of the east curb line of North 7^th Street to a point 60 feet further east thereof (three cabs)”

Part 10.  Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:

“On the east side of North 23^rd Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Wells Street”

Part 11.  Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North 23^rd Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Wells Street

Part 12.  Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Jefferson Street from East Erie Street and East Corcoran Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday

Part 13.  Section 101-32-3-g-3 of the Code relating to Ten-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of West Michigan Street from North James Lovell Street to a point 95 feet east from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
