Title
Substitute ordinance establishing a Site Plan Review Overlay District (SP) located on the South Side of West Bradley Road and East of North Granville Road, in the 9th Aldermanic District.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance establishes an overlay district for future development of a single-family subdivision known as River View to provide design standards that can be enforced through permitting.
Body
Resolved, That the Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, do ordain as follows:
 
Part 1. There is added to the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances a new section to read as follows:
 
Section 295-1009.0001. The zoning map is amended to establish an overlay district for that area being a redivision of Lot 5, Block 3, in the recorded Plat of "Calumet Farms Addition No. 1" Subdivision, all of the recorded Plats of "Calumet Farms Addition Nos. 2, 4, 5, 6 and 7" Subdivisions and Unplatted Lands, being located in a part of the Northwest 1/4, Northeast 1/4, Southwest 1/4 and Southeast 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of Section 17, Town 8 North, Range 21 East, in the City of Milwaukee, Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, now being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
 
Commencing at the Northeast Corner of the said Northeast 1/4 Section; thence South 87 deg. 38 min. 04 sec. West and along the north line of the said Northeast 1/4 Section and the centerline of "West Bradley Road," 900.00 feet to a point; thence South 16 deg. 41 min. 46 sec. West and along the east line of "Calumet Farms" Subdivision (A Subdivision Plat of Record) and then "Calumet Farms Addition No. 1" Subdivision (A Subdivision Plat of Record) and the northerly extension thereof, 573.19 feet to the place of beginning of lands hereinafter described;
 
Continuing thence South 16 deg. 41 min. 46 sec. West and along the said east line of said "Calumet Farms Addition No. 1" and then "Calumet Farms Addition No. 2" Subdivision (A Subdivision Plat of Record), 826.86 feet to a point; thence South 16 deg. 59 min. 59 sec. East and along the said east line of said "Calumet Farms Addition No. 2," 306.28 feet to a point; thence South 87 deg. 41 min. 08 sec. West and along the south line of said "Calumet Farms Addition No. 2," 284.28 feet to a point; thence South 86 deg. 42 min. 43 sec. East and along the said east right-of-way line, 321.36 feet to a point of curvature; thence Northeasterly 794.19 feet along the said east right-of-way line and the arc of a curve, whose center lies to the Northwest, whose radius is 795.00 feet, whose central angle is 57 deg. 14 min. 14 sec., and whose chord bears North 16 deg. 21 min. 05 sec. East, 761.57 feet to a point; thence North 73 deg. 00 min. 01 sec. East and along the south line of "Calumet Farms Addition No. 3" Subdivision (A Subdivision Plat of Record), 152.71 feet to a point; thence North 16 deg. 59 min. 59 sec. West and along the east line of said "Calumet Farms Addition No. 3," 270.99 feet to a point; thence North 35 deg. 19 min. 02 sec.
