Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:
1st Aldermanic District
Area bounded by W. Silver Spring Dr., W. Douglas Ave., N. 43rd St., and N. 27th St. (SM494120217) File Number 121420: Sanitary Sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $1,718,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $1,738,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2013 construction season.
2nd and 5th Aldermanic Districts
W. Appleton Ave. - W. Capitol Dr. to N. 107th St. (WT410130009) File Number 121421: Hydrant alteration. (Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 5010 -- $8,000, Additional Funds; Nonassessable Water Fund Budget Line 6410 -- $57,000, Additional Funds). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $169,500. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2013 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
