Title
An ordinance relating to parking controls.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
On the east side of North 37th Street from West Custer Avenue to a point 80 feet north
On the west side of North 37th Street from West Custer Avenue to a point 90 feet north
Part 2. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Fillmore Drive from a point 755 feet west of West Sumac Place to South 51st Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of West Hayes Avenue from South 51st Street a point 140 feet west from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the north side of West Montrose Avenue from a point 575 feet west of West Sumac Place to West Kinnickinnic River Parkway from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the west side of South 51st Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Kinnickinnic River Parkway from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the south side of West Fillmore Drive from West Montrose Street to South 51st Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-k of the Code relating to Parking for the Physically Disabled is amended by adding the following:
The first legal parking space on the east side of North Cramer Street south of East Hartford Avenue
The first legal parking space on the south side of East Kenwood Boulevard west of North Downer Avenue
The first legal parking space on the south side of East Kenwood Boulevard east of North Farwell Avenue
The first legal parking space on the east side of North Maryland Avenue south of East Hartford Avenue
The first legal parking space on the west side of North Warren Avenue north of East Brady Street
Part 5. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Palmer Street from East Vine Street at East Center Street
Part 6. Section 101-32-3-b-5 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
“On the east side of North Maryland Avenue from East Hartford Avenue to East Newport Avenue from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Except Sunday”
“On the west side of North Maryland Avenue from East Hartford Avenue to East Newport Avenue from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Except Sunday”
Part 7. Section 101-32-3-b-6 of the Code relating to Three-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Maryland Avenue from a point 260 feet north of East Hartford Avenue to East Newport Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday and 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday
