Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2001 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 – December 24, 2000):
Under Pay Range 047, delete the current biweekly rate of $1,624.88 and substitute the rate $1,685.88. In footnote "1/", delete the wording "nonmanagement/nonrepresented."
Part 2. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 – December 24, 2000):
Under Pay Range 252, in footnote "1/", delete the reference to the 2000 rate of $49.85 biweekly and substitute "For 2001 this differential is $0.64 per hour ($51.20 biweekly).
Under Pay Range 260, add the following paragraph at the end of the pay range: "Employes represented by the Association of Law Enforcement Allied Services Personnel to be paid at the following rates effective Pay Period 1, 2000: $1,275.56, 1,306.82, 1,342.35, 1,381.12 and 1,435.07."
Part 3. Section 5 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 – December 24, 2000):
Under Pay Range 424, add the following paragraph at the end of the pay range: "Employes represented by the Association of Law Enforcement Allied Services Personnel to be paid at the following rates effective Pay Period 1, 2000: $954.17, 972.25, 1,013.41, 1,035.12, 1,056.74, l,079.64, 1,104.74 and 1,142.46."
Under Pay Range 460, add the following paragraph at the end of the pay range: "Employes represented by the Association of Law Enforcement Allied Services Personnel to be paid at the following rates effective Pay Period 1, 2000: $1,204.78, 1,234.10, 1,265.40, 1,300.93 and 1,350.22."
Part 4. Section 6 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 – December 24, 2000):
Under Pay Range 480, add the following paragraph at the end of the pay range: "Employes not represented by a certified collective bargaining unit shall be paid the same rates of pay as employes represented by the Association of Law Enforcement Allied Services Personnel (Police Aide Unit)."
Part 5. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2001 – December 24, 2000):
Under Pay Range 535, add the following paragraph at the end of the pay range: "Employes represented by the Association of Law Enforcement Allied Services Personnel to be paid at the following rates effective Pay Period 1, 2000: $1,300.93, 1,339.00, 1,378.68, 1,421.29 and 1,479.05."
Part 6. Section 25 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 12, 2001 – May 27, 2001):
Under Pay Range 974, delete the hourly rates of pay shown and substitute in lieu thereof the following official hourly rates of pay:
$14.92 15.96 17.27 18.58
Under Pay Range 975, delete the hourly rates of pay shown and substitute in lieu thereof the following official hourly rates of pay:
$12.17 14.60 18.26 21.91
Under Pay Range 978, delete the hourly rate of pay shown and substitute in lieu thereof the following official hourly rate of pay:
$24.34
Part 7. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 8. The provisions of Parts 1 through 5 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2001 (December 24, 2000).
The provisions of Part 6 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 12, 2001 (May 27, 2001).
Part 9. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after passage and publication.
