WHEREAS, Travaux Inc. solicited sealed proposals by Official Notice Number 58096 during the period March 11, 2022 through March 30, 2022 for Electrical Design Assist for Phase 4A Townhomes (Westlawn Renaissance VII) at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and
WHEREAS, two sealed proposals were received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CDST) on March 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the sealed proposals were received and opened on March 30, 2022, during which the proposal procedure was conducted in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations; and
WHEREAS, Hurt Electric Inc., a qualified and competent offeror, submitted the highest ranked proposal based on the proposal evaluation criteria; and
WHEREAS, staff recommends award of a contract to Hurt Electric Inc. in an amount not to exceed $2,274,800.00, subject to final negotiation of scope of work and price; therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. that it hereby authorizes and approves accepting the proposal of and entering into a contract with Hurt Electric Inc. for Electrical Design Assist for Phase 4A Townhomes (Westlawn Renaissance VII) at Westlawn Gardens Phase 2; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from Westlawn Renaissance VII Mixed Financing; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of Travaux Inc.; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any extensions of the time of performance are needed, the officers of Travaux Inc. may approve such request without any further action of the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc.; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if it is determined that such approval is required; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed relative to this matter by the Board of Directors of Travaux Inc. and the officers of Travaux Inc. be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
