Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various
parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 13th Street from West Edgerton Avenue to a point 250 feet south thereof at any time
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South 13th Street from the south curb line of West Edgerton Avenue to a point 250 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 38th Street from West Hampton Avenue south to the first alley from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on school days only"
"On the east side of North 13th Street from West Michigan Street to West Wisconsin Avenue at any time"
'On the east side of North 10th Street from the south curb line of West Wisconsin Avenue to a point 110 feet south thereof from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the west side of North 35th Street between West Juneau and West McKinley Avenues between the driveways of the Steinman Lumber Company between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Bennett Avenue from South 60th Street to a point 150 feet east at any time
On the south side of West State Street from North 11th Street to a point 65 feet west at any time
On the north side of West Wells Street from a point 120 feet west of North 19th Street to 30 feet west thereof at any time
On the west side of South 3rd Street from a point 240 feet south of West Edgerton Avenue to 170 feet south thereof at any time
On the north side of West Vliet Street from a point 50 feet east of North 40th Street to a point 95 feet east at any time
On the east side of North 14th Street from a point 45 feet north of West Reservoir Avenue to a point 35 feet south of West Reservoir Avenue at any time
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to 30 Minute Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North Hopkins Street from the north curb line of West Courtland Avenue to a point 80 feet north thereof
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 40th Street from West Capitol Drive to the east/west alley south thereof from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM"
"On the east side of North 6th Street from West State Street to West Highland Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 46th Street from West Wright Street to West Clarke Street from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM on regular school days"
"On the east side of North 31st Street between West Meinecke and West North Avenues"
"On the west side of South 23rd Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North Jefferson Street from East Ogden Avenue to East Lyon Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday
Part 8. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Exceptions to Alternate Side Parking is amended by adding the following:
On South 19th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Hayes Avenue
On South 32nd Street from West National Avenue north to the dead end
