Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 38th Street from West Villard Avenue to West Rohr Avenue from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on Friday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of North 20th Street from West Hopkins Street to West Auer Avenue at any time"
"On North 27th Street from West Lisbon Avenue to West Center Street from 3:30 PM to 6:00 PM except Saturday, Sunday and Holidays"
"On the east side of North 12th Lane from West Galena Street to West Walnut Street at any time"
"On the west side of North 19th Street from the north curb line of West North Avenue to a point 75 feet north thereof at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Pleasant Street from North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive to a point 180 feet east at any time
On the south side of West Bradley Road from a point 250 feet west of North 101st Street to a point 550 feet further west at any time
On the east side of North Old World Third Street from West McKinley Avenue to a point 50 feet south at any time
On the south side of East Buffalo Street from the Milwaukee River to North Water Street
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to Half Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 37th Street from a point 75 feet south of West Custer Avenue to a point 40 feet further south thereof"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the north side of West Abbott Avenue from South 26th Street to South 27th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
"On the east side of North Teutonia Avenue from West Hopkins Street to West Albany Place from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On South 28th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue
On South 29th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue
On South 30th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On South 28th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On South 29th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On South 30th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of South 18th Street between West Forest Home Avenue and West Becher Street from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM"
"On the north side of West Midland Drive from South 44th Street to South 45th Street"
"On the south side of West Midland Drive from South 44th Street to South 45th Street"
"On the east side of North Weil Street from East Auer to East Concordia Avenues"
"On North 28th Street from West Nash Street to West Vienna Avenue"
"On the south side of West Meinecke Avenue from North 31st Street to the railroad tracks east thereof"
"On the west side of North 28th Street from the alley north of West Fond du Lac Avenue to West Hadley Street"
"On North 13th Street between West Walnut Street and West Galena Street"
"On the south side of East Buffalo Street from North Water Street to the Milwaukee River on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
Part 7. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Holt Avenue from South 92nd Street east to the alley
Part 8. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of East Buffalo Street from North Water Street to the Milwaukee River from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
