Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2003 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 020487 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Election Commission, General Office", delete one position of "Office Assistant IV" and add one position of "Administrative Assistant III."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 020487 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Fire Department, Supporting Services Decision Unit", delete one position of "Battalion Chief, Fire" and add one position of "Vehicle Operations Training Coordinator."
Part 3. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 020487 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Health Department, Maternal and Child Health Division, Women's Infants and Children's Nutrition Program Grant(C)" delete two positions of "Clinic Assistant(X)(C)", and two positions of "Office Assistant II(C)" and add one position of "Office Assistant (Auxiliary)(C)" and two positions of "Clinic Assistant (Auxiliary)(X)(C)" and amend footnote"(C)" as follows: "To expire 12/31/04 unless the Women's Infants and Children's Grant is extended"; under "Healthy Behaviors and HealthCare Access Division, Municipal Health Services Program(B)", delete one position of "Office Assistant II (B)" and amend footnote "(B)" as follows: "To expire 12/31/04 unless the Municipal Health Services Program is extended"; amend footnote "(V)" as follows: "To expire 06/30/04 unless the SURVNET Grant is extended."
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
