Resolution Approving Change Orders to AJ Development Group LLC, Insulation Technologies Inc., Lakeside Remodeling LLC, and Integral Construction and Development LLC as General Contractors for Various Repairs at Scattered Sites, in the amount not to exceed $800.000.00

Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Housing Authority) solicited competitive Pricing for General Contractors for Various Repairs at Scattered Sites; and
WHEREAS, the original award amount of $700,000.00 was over the threshold of $250,000.00 above which approval by the Housing Authority Board of Directors was required and, therefore, said award was presented for approval at the time; and
WHEREAS, during the course of the various repairs, additional work beyond the original scope shall be required, resulting in change order items totaling $800,000.00 not-to-exceed; and
WHEREAS, the new purchase order amount of $800,000.00 not-to-exceed continues to exceed the aforementioned $250,000 threshold, and, therefore, requires approval by the Housing Authority Board of Directors; therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority that they hereby authorizes change order items to be added to Purchase Orders with AJ Development Group LLC (SS124149), Insulation Technologies Inc. (SS124150), Lakeside Remodeling LLC (SS124151), and Integral Construction & Development LLC (SS124152) as General Contractors for Various Repairs at Scattered Sites in the amount of $200,000.00 not-to-exceed for each firm for an initial period of one year (with renewal options for up to three additional years) for services on an as-needed basis, or $800,000.00 not-to-exceed total award; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that funds for these services will come from the Capital Fund Program of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Housing Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contracts for and on behalf of the Housing Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any change orders including time of performance are needed, the Chairperson and Acting Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Commissioners of the Housing Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed relative to this matter by the Commissioners and the Secretary-Executive Director of the Authority be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
