Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2000 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 990704 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Municipal Court, Management and Administration", delete one position of "Office Assistant IV" and add one position of "Administrative Assistant III."
Under "Health Department, Chronic Disease Division, Women, Infants and Children's Grant", delete one position of "Nutritionist (X)" and one position of "Office Assistant III" and add three positions of "Office Assistant II (C)" and under "Division of Epidemiology and Planning, Bioterrorism Grant", add footnote designation "(Q)" to one position of "Microbiologist III" and one position of "Epidemiologist (X)" and amend footnote "(Q)" as follows: "To expire 8/31/00 unless the Bioterrorism Grant, available from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services is extended. .3 FTE of Microbiologist III position funded by the Bioterrorism Preparedness Laboratory Support Grant." and add footnote "(GG)" as follows: "To expire 6/30/01 unless the Bioterrorism Preparedness Laboratory Support Grant from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Service is extended. .7 FTE of Microbiologist III position funded by the Bioterrorism Grant."
Under "Department of Neighborhood Services, Residential Inspection Division", delete one position of "Office Assistant II" and add one position of "Customer Service Representative I."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 990704 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 7, 2000 - March 19, 2000):
Under "Department of Employee Relations, Operations Division", delete the "Pay Services Section and Certification Section" headers and create a combined heading of "Certification and Pay Services Section" and delete one position of "Salary Systems Administrator" and one position of "Personnel Analyst-Senior" and add one position of "Certification and Salary Systems Administrator."
Part 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 4. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 7, 2000 (March 19, 2000).
The provisions of all others parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 5. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
