Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2009 offices and positions in the City Service.

This substitute ordinance changes positions in the following departments:
Department of City Development, Fire Department, Health Department and Police Department
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 080522 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Department of City Development, General Management and Policy Development Decision Unit, Housing Development”, delete one position of “Rental Rehabilitation Specialist (X) (Y)” and add one position of “Housing Rehabilitation Manager (X)(Y).”
Under “Fire Department, Supporting Services Decision Unit, Automation Section”, delete one position of “Technical Services Bureau Manager” and add one position of “Fire Technical Services Manager.”
Under “Health Department, Disease Control and Environmental Health Services Division, Home Environmental Health”, add one position of “Healthy Homes Inspector”; under “HIV Women’s Project (L)”, delete one position of “Public Health Nurse (X)(G)(L)” and amend footnote “(L)” to read as follows: “To expire 07/31/10 unless the HIV Women’s Project Grant, available from the Medical College of Wisconsin, is extended”; amend footnote “(D)” to read as follows: “To expire 8/31/10 unless the Ecocultural Family Interview Assessment Grant from the University of Wisconsin-School of Medicine and Public Health, is extended.”
Under "Library, Investigation and Call Diretor Section", delete the title "Library Security Manager (X)" and add the title "Security Manager (X)."
Under “Police Department, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Communications Division”, delete one position of “Police Alarm Operator (G)” and add one position of “Police Dispatcher (G).”
Part 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 3. The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 4. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
