This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which are to be financed by a developer in accordance with an agreement approved by the Common Council.
BODY:
Whereas, On July 25, 1997, the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted Resolution File Number 970543 authorizing an agreement between the developer of Honey Creek Corporate Center at 125 S. 84th St. and the City of Milwaukee for the installation of required improvements in certain public ways:
W. Chester St. (S/S) - 900 ft. m/l east of S. 92nd St. to S. 92nd St. (960-0442-1) File Number 970442: Concrete sidewalk, seeding, and grading. (Developer Paving Fund 72-523---210-8000 -- $35,000) (1998 Paving Program)
(WE 826-Phase 1) 720 ft. m/l north of W. Chester St. to 1,600 ft. m/l east of S. 92nd St. to W. Chester St. to 850 ft. m/l east of S. 92nd St. (828-1580-8) File Number 970291: Install water main. (Developer Water Fund 42-641---301-0001 -- $110,000)

Whereas, Funds have been encumbered and thus set aside for the proposed public improvements; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that after the developers of said development deposit the necessary funds in accordance with said agreement, the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital purpose subaccounts.
