Analysis

This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:

All Departments, Department of Administration (Office of the Director), Board of Zoning Appeals, Department of City Development, Common Council-City Clerk, Election Commission, Department of Employee Relations, Fire and Police Commission, Fire Department, Health Department (Policy, Innovation, and Engagement Division), Library, Mayor, Department of Neighborhood Services, Police Department, Port Milwaukee, Department of Public Works (Administrative Services Division, Infrastructure Services Division, Operations Division, Transportation Fund, Water Works)

 

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

 

Part 1.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 230639 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 18, 2023 - August 20, 2023):

 

Under Pay Range 1KX, delete footnote designation (1) from the title of “Water Quality Manager (1)(4)”.

 

Part 2.  Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 230639 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 17, 2024 - August 4, 2024):

 

Under Pay Range 1CX, delete the titles of “Police Records Supervisor (3)” and “Public Relations Supervisor”, delete footnote (3) in its entirety, and renumber remaining footnotes accordingly.

 

Under Pay Range 1EX, delete the title of “Police Records Manager (10)”, delete footnote (10) in its entirety, and renumber remaining footnotes accordingly.

 

Under Pay Range 1FX, add the titles of “Police Records Supervisor (7)” and “BOZA Administrative Supervisor (7)”; delete the titles of “Property Control Manager (3)”, “Community Relations and Engagement Director (1)(2)”, and “Public Information Manager (1)(2)”; delete footnotes (2) and (3) in their entirety; and renumber remaining footnotes accordingly.
