Title
Resolution relating to acceptance and funding of a Good Hope Parking Lot Green Infrastructure Grant.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes the Milwaukee Public Library to accept and fund a Good Hope Parking Lot Green Infrastructure Grant project from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District in the amount of $100,000. The purpose of the project is to install three green infrastructure features in the parking lot of the Good Hope branch library.

Whereas, The City of Milwaukee is eligible for grant funds from the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District to install three green infrastructure features in the parking lot of the Good Hope branch library; and
Whereas, The operation of this grant from 08/23/24 to 04/30/25 would cost $100,000 of which $100,000 (100%) would be provided by the grantor; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Milwaukee Public Library shall accept this grant without further approval unless the terms of the grant change as indicated in Section 304-81, Milwaukee Code of Ordinances; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to:
1. Commit funds within the Project/Grant Parent of the 2024 Special Revenue--Grant and Aid Projects Fund, the following amounts for the project titled Good Hope Parking Lot Green Infrastructure Grant:

2. Create the necessary Special Revenue Fund - Grant and Aid Project/Grant and Project Level values; budget to these Project/Grant values the amount required under the grant agreement;

Further Resolved, That these funds are budgeted for Milwaukee Public Library which is authorized to:
1. Expend from the amount budgeted for specified purposes as indicated in the grant budget and incur costs consistent with the award date;
2. Enter into subcontracts and leases as detailed in the grant budget.
