Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various

Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements

in various parts of  the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain

as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of South 29^th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to West Forest Home Avenue from 3:30 PM to 5:30 Pm except Saturday and Sunday where No Parking is in effect”

“On the east side of South 34^th Street from a point 162 feet north of the north curb line of West Montana Street to a point 200 feet further north thereof from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

Part 2.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the north side of East Pleasant Street from a point 135 feet west of North 1^st Street to a point 30 feet west thereof

On the north side of West Pierce Street from a point 85 feet west of South 11^th Street to a point 110 feet west thereof

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North 26^th Street from West Concordia Avenue to a point 150 feet south thereof”

“On North 27^th Street between West Auer Avenue and West Burleigh Street except Saturday and Sunday and Holidays”

“On North 36^th Street Between West Chambers and West Burleigh Streets”

“On West Orchard Street from South 3^rd Street to South 4^th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM”

“On the east side of North 15^th Street from West Wright Street to West Clarke Street on even calendar dates from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday”

“On the east side of North 29^th Street from the first alley north of West North Avenue to West Meinecke Avenue”

“On North 33^rd Street from West Clarke Street to West Wright Street except where No Parking is in effect”

“On the east side of South 2^nd Street from West Mitchell Street to West Greenfield Avenue from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sundays and Holidays”

“On the west side of South 2^nd Street from West Greenfield Avenue to point 200 feet south of the south line of West Lapham Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sundays and Holidays”

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the east side of South 2^nd Street from West Lapham Boulevard to West Mitchell Street

On the west side of South 2^nd Street from West Lapham Boulevard to a point 200 feet south

Part 5. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking by adding the following:

On South 25^th Street from West Greenfield Avenue to West Orchard Street

On West Oregon Street from South 1^st Street to South 3^rd Street

In the area beginning at West Arthur Avenue and South 16^th Street, east to South 9^th Place, south to West Harrison Avenue, west to South 10^th Street, south to West Cleveland Avenue, west to South 16^th Street and north to West Arthur Avenue
