Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 17th Street from the south curb line of West Finn Place to a point 60 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 11th Street from West Chambers Street to West Locust Street from December 1 to March 1 except Sunday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM"
"On North 12th Street from the north curb line of West Center Street to a point 100 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 19th Street from the south curb line of West Center Street to the first east/west alley south thereof from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of North 22nd Street from the north curb line of West Fond du Lac Avenue to a point 85 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the south side of West Winnebago Street from North 8th Street to North 7th Street at any time"
"On the east side of South 51st Street from a point 150 feet south of West Oklahoma Avenue to a point 120 feet further south trucks 3 tons or over"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 68th Street from West Bennett Avenue to West Oklahoma Avenue at any time
On the west side of North 100th Street from West Grantosa Drive to a point 200 feet north at any time
On the west side of South 97th Street from a point 50 feet north of West Wilbur Avenue to a point 50 feet south of West Wilbur Avenue at any time
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On West Townsend Street from West Hopkins Street to North 27th Street between the hours of 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 11th Street from West Cherry Street north to the second alley at 1531 North 11th Street"
"On the west side of North 14th Street between West North and West Garfield Avenues"
"On North 25th Street between West North Avenue and West Garfield Avenue"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 35th Street from West Montana Street to West Dakota Street
On the south side of West Winnebago Street from North 6th Street to North 8th Street from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday
Part 6. Section 101-23-11 of the Code relating to Heavy Truck Parking Prohibited is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 51st Street from a point 150 feet south of West Oklahoma Avenue to West Euclid Avenue
Part 7. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On South 23rd Street from West National Avenue to West Scott Street
On South 23rd Street from West Orchard Street to West Lapham Street
On South 9th Street from West Greenfield Avenue to West Lapham Boulevard
Part 8. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Winnebago Street from North 6th Street to North 8th Street from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday
