Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North Prospect Avenue from East Mason Street to East Wisconsin Avenue from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 2nd Street from the north curb line of West Michigan Street to a point 90 feet north thereof at any time"
"On North 8th Street for a distance of 50 feet east and west of the lot line of West Center Street"
"On North 12th Street from the south curb line of West Locust Street to a point 60 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the east side of South 5th Place from W. Grant Street to West Burnham Street at any time from the 16th day of November to the 15th day of April during declared snow emergencies from 11:00 PM to 6:00 AM"
"On the east side of North 8th Street from West State Street to the driveway south thereof"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 19th Street from West Salem Street to a point south of West Aspen Street from 2:00 AM to 6:00 AM
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 28th Street between West Wisconsin Avenue and West Michigan Street"
"On the north side of West Walnut Street from a point 48 feet west of the west curb line of North 12th Street to a point 94 feet west thereof Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM Monday and Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM"
"On the south side of East St. Paul Avenue from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On the south side of North Buffalo Street from North Water Street to the Milwaukee River on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On the west side of North Milwaukee Street from East Buffalo Street to East Chicago Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On East Erie Street from North Water Street to North Young Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South 3rd Street from West Lapham Street south to the school premises"
"On South 7th Street between West Walker and West Washington Streets except Sunday"
"On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 13th to North 14th Streets from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
"On East Newberry Boulevard from North Downer Avenue to North Lake Drive from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of East Newberry Boulevard from North Downer Avenue to North Lake Drive from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of East Newberry Boulevard from North Downer Avenue to North Hackett Avenue from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of East Newberry Boulevard from North Summit Avenue to North Lake Drive from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
On the south side of East Kenilworth Place from North Prospect Avenue to North Summit Avenue
On the south side of East St. Paul Avenue from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
On the south side of North Buffalo Street from North Water Street to the Milwaukee River on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
On the west side of North Milwaukee Street from East Buffalo Street to East Chicago Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
On East Erie Street from North Water Street to North Young Street on Saturday from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On East Wells Street from North Cass Street to North Prospect Avenue from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
Part 8. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of East Bradford Avenue from North Newhall Street to North Oakland Avenue"
Part 9. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East Bradford Avenue from North Bartlett Avenue to North Oakland Avenue
Part 10. Section 101-26.5 of the Code relating to No Parking Snow 2 Inches or More is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East Bradford Avenue from North Bartlett Avenue to North Newhall Street
Part 11. Section 101-32-3-c-4 of the Code relating to One Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of East St. Paul Avenue from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
"On the south side of East Buffalo Street from North Water Street to the Milwaukee River from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
"On the west side of North Milwaukee Street from East Buffalo Street to East Chicago Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
"On East Erie Street from North Water Street to North Young Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
