Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various
parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Foster Avenue from South 14th Street to a point 60 feet west
On the west side of South 14th Street from West Foster Avenue to a point 60 feet south
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South 25th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue south to the alley at any time"
"On West Hayes Avenue from the west center line of South 35th Street to a point 235 feet west thereof at any time"
"On the east side of North 4th Street from West Juneau Avenue to a point 140 feet north"
"On the west side of North 84th Street 120 feet south of West Burleigh Street"
"On the east side of North 88th Street from the south center line of West Vienna Avenue extended to a point 120 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the south side of West Metcalf Place from the west center line of North Willis Place to a point 60 feet west thereof at any time"
"On the north side of West Villard Avenue from North 54th Street to the first driveway east thereof"
"On the west side of North 68th Street from West Grantosa Drive to West Silver Spring Drive at any time"
"On the west side of North 42nd Street from the north lot line of West Blue Mound Road to a point approximately 50 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 40th Street from the south center line of West Blue Mound Road to a point 50 feet south of the south center line of West Blue Mound Road at any time"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Hayes Avenue from South 35th Street west to the dead end
On the south side of West Hayes Avenue from South 35th Street to a point 235 feet west
On the east side of North 4th Street from West Juneau Avenue to West McKinley Avenue
On the west side of South 57th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to a point 60 feet south
On the north side of West Burleigh Street from North 56th Street to a point 50 feet east
On the south side of West State Street from North 27th Street to a point 60 feet west
On the south side of East Erie Street from North Broadway to North Milwaukee Street
On the west side of South 25th Street from West Oklahoma Avenue to a point 55 feet south
In the alley south of East Morgan Avenue between South Pine Avenue and South Lenox Street
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 66th Street from West Fiebrantz Avenue to West Hope Avenue from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 35th Street between West Wisconsin Avenue and West Michigan Street from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM"
"On the west side of South 13th Street from a point 325 feet south of the south center line of West Burnham Street to West Rogers Street from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-g of the Code relating to Five Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 4th Street from West McKinley Avenue to a point 140 feet north of West Juneau Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday"
Part 7. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of East Manitoba Street from South Herman Street to South Clement Avenue"
"On the west side of North Palmer Street from East Burleigh Street to East Keefe Avenue"
Part 8. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North Palmer Street from East Burleigh Street to East Townsend Street
Part 9. Section 101-24-2 of the Code relating to Tow-Away Zones is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Foster Avenue from South 14th Street to a point 60 feet west
On the west side of South 14th Street from West Foster Avenue to a point 60 feet south
Part 10. Section 101-27-3-b-1 relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Rogers Street from South 25th Street to South 26th Street
On South 34th Street from West National Avenue to West Scott Street
Part 11. Section 101-32-3-c of the Code relating to One Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of South Kinnickinnic Avenue from East Linus Street to East Ward Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On the west side of South Kinnickinnic Avenue from South Howell Avenue to East Ward Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On South Howell Avenue from South Kinnickinnic Avenue to East Lincoln Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On the east side of South Howell Avenue from the south center line of East Lincoln Avenue to a point 260 feet south thereof from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On the west side of South Howell Avenue from a point 165 feet south of the south center line of East Lincoln Avenue to a point 70 feet south thereof from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
"On the south side of East Lincoln Avenue from the east line of South Kinnickinnic Avenue to a point 180 feet east thereof from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM"
Part 12. Section 101-32-3-d-2 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On South Kinnickinnic Avenue from East Ward Street to East Lincoln Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday
On the east side of South Howell Avenue from South Kinnickinnic Avenue to East Lincoln Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday
On South Howell Avenue from East Lincoln Avenue to a point 200 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday
On the west side of South Allis Street from East Lincoln Avenue to a point 160 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday
On the south side of East Lincoln Avenue from South Kinnickinnic Avenue to a point 130 feet east from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Sunday
Part 13. Section 101-32-3-f-4 of the Code relating to Five Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 4th Street from West McKinley Avenue to a point 140 feet north of West Juneau Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
