Resolution relating to the release of no-vehicular-access restrictions on West Mill Road between North Teutonia Avenue and North 40th Street.

Analysis

This resolution releases portions of no-vehicular-access restrictions along West Mill Road between North Teutonia Avenue and North 40^Th Street, in the 1^st Aldermanic District, affecting the properties located at 6333 North Teutonia Avenue, 3465 West Mill Road, 3500 West Mill Road, and 3516 West Mill Road, to allow continued driveway access to West Mill Road. 

Body

Whereas, A warranty deed between Glenton Corporation and the City recorded on September 29, 1959, conveyed and relinquished to the City certain rights of access along a southerly portion of West Mill Road between North Teutonia Avenue and North 40^th Street, resulting in a no-vehicular-access restriction, a portion of which is shown in Exhibit A and described in Exhibit B; and

Whereas, A final order of the Common Council made on June 3, 1960, acquired certain rights of access along a northerly portion of West Mill Road between North Teutonia Avenue and  North 40^th Street, resulting in a no-vehicular-access restriction, a portion of which is shown in Exhibit A and described in Exhibit B; and

Whereas, The no-vehicular-access restrictions prohibit driveway access to West Mill Road from the properties located at 6333 North Teutonia Avenue, tax key number 136-9999-112, 3465 West Mill Road, tax key number 136-9999-111, 3500 West Mill Road, tax key number 137-9992-120, and 3516 West Mill Road, tax key number 137-0002-000; and

Whereas, The affected property owners have requested release of portions of the no-vehicular-access restrictions shown in Exhibit A and described in Exhibit B to allow continue use of their driveways; and 

Whereas, Upon review of the no-vehicular-access restriction, the Department of City Development has no objection to releasing the restriction; now, therefore, be it

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the portions of the no-vehicular-access restrictions on West Mill Road between North Teutonia Avenue and North 40^th Street, affecting the properties located at 6333 North Teutonia Avenue, tax key number 136-9999-112, 3465 West Mill Road, tax key number 136-9999-111, 3500 West Mill Road, tax key number 137-9992-120, and 3516 West Mill Road, tax key number 137-0002-000, as shown in Exhibit A and described in Exhibit B, are released.
