Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 5th Street from West Highland Avenue to West Juneau Avenue at any time"
"On the west side of North 5th Street from West Highland Avenue to West Juneau Avenue at any time"
"On the north side of West Wisconsin Avenue from a point 90 feet east of the east curb line of North 26th Street to a point 30 feet further east thereof at any time"
"On the west side of North 10th Street from the south curb line of West Highland Avenue to a point 100 feet south thereof"
"On the north side of West Walnut Street from North 11th Street to West Fond du Lac Avenue from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM except Sunday"
"On North 12th Street from the south curb line of West Hadley Street to a point 50 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the north side of West Wright Street from the east curb line of North 28th Street to a point 50 feet east thereof at any time"
"On the east side of North 32nd Street from the south curb line of West Clarke Street to a point 60 feet further south thereof at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to One-Half Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North Water Street from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday"
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 16th Street between West Wisconsin Avenue and a point 60 feet north of the north lot line of West Clybourn Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 11th Street between West Vliet and West Cherry Streets"
"On the east side of North 26th Street from West Meinecke Avenue to West Wright Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on even calendar dates except Saturday and Sunday"
"On North Hi Mount Boulevard between West North and West Garfield Avenues"
"On North 46th Street between West North and West Meinecke Avenues"
"On North 10th Street from West Wells Street to West Wisconsin Avenue from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Water Street from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On North 10th Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Wells Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of West Capitol Drive from North 78th Street to North 79th Street
Part 6. Section 101-23-11 of the Code relating to Heavy Truck Parking Prohibited is amended by adding the following:
On West Donna Drive from North Granville Road to North 107th Street
Part 7. Section 101-26.5-1 of the Code relating to No Parking When Snowfall 2 Inches Or More is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of East Belleview Place from North Oakland Avenue to North Cramer Street
Part 8. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Greenfield Avenue from South 10th Street to South 11th Street
On South 37th Street from West Frederica Place to West Scott Street
On West Frederica Place from South 37th Street to South 38th Street
On West Arrow Street from South Comstock Avenue to South 20th Street
Part 9. Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by striking the following:
"On West Wells Street from North 35th Street to North 37th Street"
Part 10. Section 101-32-3-b of the Code relating to 30 Minute Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North Water Street from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday"
Part 11. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 10th Street from West Wells Street to West Wisconsin Avenue from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday"
Part 12. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Water Street from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On North 10th Street from West Wisconsin Avenue to West Wells Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
On North 5th Street from West Juneau Avenue to West Highland Avenue from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM Monday through Friday
