Title
Substitute resolution determining it necessary to make various nonassessable public improvements at various locations and appropriating funds for these purposes with the City engineering cost estimated to be $672,000 for a total estimated cost of these projects being $3,110,000.
Analysis
This resolution authorizes engineering studies on projects which by City Charter are nonassessable. After design plans and estimates of costs have been prepared, a resolution authorizing construction will be submitted to the Common Council. The City cost for engineering these projects is estimated to be $672,000 with the total cost estimated to be $3,110,000.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that it is necessary and in the public interest to do the following described improvements according to City specifications:
1st Aldermanic District
W. Custer Ave. (Extended) - N. Teutonia Ave. to 150 feet m/l west of N. Teutonia Ave. (SM495060082): Sanitary sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $5,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $21,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2007 construction season.
3rd Aldermanic District
E. Belleview Pl. - N. Newhall St. to N. Bartlett Ave. (SM495060083): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $10,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $46,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2007 construction season.
E. Brady St. at N. Astor St. (ST211060177): Remove and replace concrete curb and gutter, sidewalk and driveway approaches. (Nonassessable Reconstruction Paving Fund -- $5,000, additional contract funds). File Number 060245 authorized $35,000. The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $40,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2007 construction season.

N. Riverboat Rd. - N. Weil St. to 200 feet m/l east of N. Weil St. (SW170060107): Installing new sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Expansion of Capacity Sewer Fund -- $10,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $50,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2007 construction season.
N. 1st St. - E. Clarke St. to E. Center St. (SM495060069): Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $12,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $175,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2007 construction season.
