Title

A substitute ordinance relating to traffic controls in various Aldermanic Districts.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned traffic requirements in

various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1. Section 101-11-1 of the Code relating to No Left Turn is amended by adding the following:

On West Lisbon Avenue from the driveway located 60 feet west of North 55^th Street for westbound traffic from 6:00AM to 9:00AM and 3:00PM to 6:00PM Monday through Friday

On South 3^rd Street at a point 490 feet south of West Oklahoma Avenue for westbound traffic exiting the driveway of Holt Plaza

Part 2.  Section 101-13-8 of the Code relating to School Speed 20 MPH is amended by adding the following:

On West State Street from North 11^th Street to North 15^th Street

Part 3.  Section 101-15 of the Code relating to Yield signs is amended by adding the following:

On South 47^th Street at West Euclid Avenue

On West Harrison Avenue at South 3^rd Street

Part 4.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by striking the following:

“On North 2^nd Street at West Vine Street”

“On North 2^nd Street at West Garfield Avenue”

“On North Palmer Street at East Vine Street”

Part 5.  Section 101-16-1 of the Code relating to Stop signs is amended by adding the following:

On East Lloyd Street at North Palmer Street

On West Lloyd Street at North 2^nd Street

On West Reservoir Avenue at North 2^nd Street

On West Vine Street and North 2^nd Street in all directions

On West Garfield Avenue and North 2^nd Street in all directions

On North Palmer Street and East Vine Street in all directions

On South 37^th Street at West Branting Lane

On West Lapham Street at South 37^th Street

Part 6.  Section 101-16-2 of the Code relating to Through Highways is amended by striking the following:

“On North 2^nd Street from the north line of West Walnut Street to the south line of West Locust Street”

“On North Palmer Street from north line of East Walnut Street to the south line of East North Avenue”

Part 7.  Section 101-16-2 of the Code relating to Through Highways is amended by adding the following:

On North 2^nd Street from West North Avenue to West Locust Street
