Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2004 offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council (Mayor, Department of Public Works - Admin., Department of Public Works - Operations Divsions, Health Department, Department of Neighborhoods Services).
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 030415 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 9, 2004 - April 20, 2004):
Under "Mayor, Administration", delete one position of "Staff Assistant to the Mayor (Y)" and add one position of "Staff Assistant to the Mayor-Senior (Y)."
Part 2. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 030415 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 12, 2004 - May 23, 2004):
Under "Department of Public Works, Operations Division, Fleet Services Section", add one position of "Automotive Machinist" and add footnote "(A)" to read as follows: "One position occupied by James fields, authorized in accordance with the terms of the City/DC 48, AFSCME labor agreement."
Under "Department of Public Works, Administrative Services Division, Administrative Services", delete one position of "Accounting Assistant I (A)" and delete footnote "(A)" in its entirety.
Part 3. Section 1 of ordinance File Number 030415 relative to offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under "Health Department, Disease Control and Prevention", delete the title "STD/HIV Prevention Training Grant (BB)" and delete one position of "Nurse Practitioner (BB)(S)(X)" and add the title "Weinhardt Computerized HIV Intervention Grant (AAA)" and add one position of "Nurse Practitioner (S)(AAA)(X)" and add footnote "(AAA)" to read as follows: "To expire 04/30/05 unless the Weinhardt Computerized HIV Intervention Grant is extended. Position is also partially funded by the Alcohol Related STD/HIV Risk Reduction Counseling Grant" and amended footnote "(S)" as follows: "To expire 08/31/04 unless the Alcohol-related STD/HIV Risk Counseling Grant, available from the Medical College of Wisconsin is extended" and delete footnote "(BB)" in its entirety; amended footnote "(UU)" as follows: "To expire 12/31/04 unless the Emergency Preparedness Grant is extended. The Environmental Capacity Grant also funds a portion of the Environmental Hygenist position"; amended footnote "(F)" as follows: "To expire 12/31/04 unless the Sexually Transmitted Diseases, available from the State of Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services is extended"; amended footnote "(N)" as follows: "To expire 5/30/05 unless the Meta House FamilyWorks Project Grant, available from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Substance abuse and Mental Health Services, is extended"; amend footnote "(M)" as follows: "To expire 05/31/05 unless the "Fetal Infant Mortality Grant, available from the Black Health Coalition, is extended."
Under "Department of Neighborhood Services, Nuisance and Environmental Health Division, Nuisance Control Section", delete one position of "Office Assistant II" and add one position of "Office Assistant III" and one position of "Nuisance Control Officer II"; under "Environmental Health Section", delete one position of "Office Assistant IV" and three positions on "Environmental Health Specialist II (X)" and add one position of "Office Assistant III" and two positions of "Environmental Hygienist."
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 9, 2004 (April 20, 2004).
The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 12, 2004 (May 23, 2004).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 6. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
