Analysis
Body
WHEREAS, the Housing Authority of the City of Milwaukee (Housing Authority) solicited proposals via a “Request for Proposals (RFP)” in Official Notice Number 58111 during the period June 2, 2023 through June 23, 2023 for Accounting Services; and
WHEREAS, two proposals were received by the deadline of 2:00 PM (CST) on June 23, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the two proposals that were received on June 23, 2023, were then evaluated and scored by HACM staff in compliance with the requirements of local, state, and federal regulations and the criteria outlined in the RFP; and
WHEREAS, Clifton Larson & Allen, LLC., a qualified and competent bidder, was the highest ranked offeror to the RFP; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Commissioners of the Housing Authority that they hereby authorize and approve accepting the proposal and entering into a contract with Clifton Larson & Allen, LLC., for Accounting Services; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the amount of the contract will be in an amount not to exceed $600,000, which will come from Section 8 via the Housing Authority’s Central Office Cost Center (COCC); and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that the proper officers of the Housing Authority be and hereby are authorized and directed to properly execute said contract for and on behalf of the Housing Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that if any change orders including the time of performance are needed, the Chairman and Secretary-Executive Director may approve such request without any further action of the Commissioners of the Housing Authority; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all of above is contingent upon receiving the approval of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, if required; and, be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, that all acts previously performed relative to this matter by the Commissioners and the Secretary-Executive Director of the Housing Authority be and hereby are approved, ratified, and confirmed in all respects.
