Title
Substitute ordinance to further amend the 2006 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance makes rates of pay changes to the rates of pay to the following:
Health Department; Police Department; Department of Public Works-Infrastructure Services; Department of Public Works-Operations Division;
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 15, 2006 - July 16, 2006):
Under Salary Grade 004, add the title “Health Project Coordinator - Plain Talk.”
Part 2. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Salary Grade 007, delete the title “Public Relations Manager.”
Under Salary Grade 009, add the title “Public Relations Manager.”
Part 3. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 14, 2006 - July 2, 2006):
Under Pay Range 245, add the footnote designation “1/” after the title “Sewer Crew Leader I” and add footnote 1/ to read as follows: “Effective Pay Period 14, 2006 (July 2, 2006), an employee assigned to operate the mini-excavator, will be paid at rates consistent with Pay Range 956, while operating such equipment.”
Part 4. Section 3 of ordinance File Number 050456 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 238, delete the title “Special Municipal Equipment Laborer 2/” and add the title “Special Fleet Services Laborer 2/.”
Part 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 6. The provisions of Part 1 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 15, 2006 (July 16, 2006).
The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to have been in force and effect from and after Pay Period 14, 2006 (July 2, 2006).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 7. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
