Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic
Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in
various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as
follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South 2nd Street from the north curb line of West Vogel Avenue to a point 90 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the east side of South 17th Street from a point 108 feet south of the south curb line of West Oklahoma Avenue to a point 30 feet further south from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the east side of South 18th Street from a point 145 feet south of the south curb line of West Euclid Avenue to a point 85 feet further south thereof at any time"
"On North 42nd Street from West Kingston Place north to the end of the street at any time"
"On the east side of North 44th Street from a point 145 feet south of the south curb line of West Clarke Street to a point 75 feet south thereof at any time"
"On East Rhode Island Avenue from South Superior Street west to the alley from 10pm to 6am"
"On the west side of South Superior Street from East Rhode Island Avenue south to a point 150 feet south"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On East Rhode Island Avenue from South Superior Street west to the alley May 1st to September 1st from 10pm to 6am
On the west side of South Superior Street from East Rhode Island Avenue south to a point 150 feet south May 1st to September 1st from 10pm to 6am
On the north side of West State Street from North 20th Street to a point 50 feet east
On the north side of West State Street from North 21st Street to a point 50 feet east
On the west side of South 70th Street from West Main Street to a point 200 feet north
On the west side of South 70th Street from West Main Street to a point 200 feet south
On the north side of West Cleveland Avenue from a point 90 feet west of South 30th Street to the alley
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-am of the Code relating to Twenty-five Minute Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of North Milwaukee street from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Michigan Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday
On the west side of North 6th Street from West Highland Avenue to West State Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday
On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from North 3rd Street to North 4th Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-b of the Code relating to Half-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 13th Street from West Vliet Street to West Kneeland Street"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the east side of North 42nd Street from West St Paul Avenue to West Mt Vernon Avenue"
"On the east side of North 54th Street from the north curb line of West State Street to a point 70 feet north thereof except Saturday and Sunday"
"On North 45th Street from the south curb line of West Burleigh Street south to the alley"
"On the west side of North 48th Street from the north curb line of West Burleigh Street north to the alley"
"On the west side of South 24th Street from West Mitchell Street to the first east/west alley south thereof from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm except Sunday"
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Broadway from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Mason Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday
On North Broadway from East Juneau Avenue to Knapp Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Saturday
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-k of the Code relating to Handicapped Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North 13th Street from West Vliet Street to West Kneeland Street
Part 8. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking by adding the following:
On West Scott Street from South 37th Street to South 38th Street
Part 9. Section 101-32-3-am of the Code relating to Twenty-five Minute Meter Parking by adding the following:
On the west side of North Milwaukee street from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Michigan Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday
On the west side of North 6th Street from West Highland Avenue to West State Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday
On the south side of West St Paul Avenue from North 3rd Street to North 4th Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday

On the east side of of North Broadway from East Wisconsin Avenue to East Mason Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday
On North Broadway from East Juneau Avenue to East Knapp Street 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday
