Analysis
This ordinance adopts by reference as part of the city code certain provisions of the Wisconsin administrative code relating to the use of anhydrous ammonia. It also updates the reference to the national building code relating to the inspection of boilers, pressure vessels, piping and pressure relief valves.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 223-5 of the code is amended to read:
223-5. Definitions. In this chaper:
1. AUTHORIZED INSPECTION AGENCY means >>either of the following<<:
a. An inspection agency as outlined in [[ANSI/NB23]] >>ANSI/NB-369<< and whose inspectors hold a valid certificate as issued by the state of Wisconsin in accordance with s. Comm 5.60, Wis. Adm. Code, as amended[[; or]] >>.<<
b. An individual who holds a valid certificate as issued by the state of Wisconsin in accordance with s. Comm 5.60, Wis. Adm. Code, as amended, and who provides the department annually with proof of general liability and property damage insurance in the sum of $1,000,000 with the city of Milwaukee as an additional insured, and continuing education and training as outlined in the [[ANSI/ASME N-626]] >>ANSI/NB-369<< series code.
Part 2. Section 236-01 of the code is amended to read:
236-01. Adoption of State Code. Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the city of Milwaukee adopts chs. Comm 10 [[and]] >>,<< 40 >>and 43<<, Wis. Adm. Code, as amended, as part of this code.
