Resolution relating to the reporting deadline of the Workforce Organizational Reform Committee.
Analysis
Common Council File Number 151186 created the Workforce Organizational Reform Committee (WORC) to recommend and implement policies, procedures and practices for reform of the City’s workforce development and economic participation initiatives.
The original timeline for the WORC extended through April, 2016. This resolution extends this timeline through June, 2016 and provides that the WORC shall dissolve upon presentation of its final report to the Common Council.

Whereas, Common Council File Number 151186, adopted November 24, 2015, created the Workforce Organizational Reform Committee (WORC) to recommend and implement policies, procedures and practices for reform of the City’s workforce development and economic participation initiatives; and
Whereas, The original timeline for the WORC extended through April, 2016, as provided in the “WORC Timeline” document attached to File Number 151186; and
Whereas, The WORC anticipates it will require additional time to complete all requirements in the WORC timeline; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the “WORC Timeline” document attached to File Number 151186 is amended by:
1. In the first paragraph on page 1, changing “April 1, 2016” to read “July 1, 2016”.
2. In the second paragraph on page 2, changing “February 2016” to read “April 2016”.
3. In the third paragraph on page 2, changing “March 2016” to read “May 2016”.
4. In the last paragraph on page 2, changing “April 2016” to “June 2016”.

Further Resolved, That Common Council File Number 151186 is amended by adding the following “Further Resolved” clause before the final “Further Resolved” clause:
“Further Resolved, That the WORC shall be dissolved upon presentation of its final report to the Common Council on recommended changes to administrative policies, procedures and practices; and, be it”
