Title

Substitute motion relating to the locations of various Milwaukee County Transit System bus stops.

Analysis

This motion authorizes the elimination existing bus stops, and the establishment of new bus stops, at various locations throughout the city.

Body

It is moved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following bus stops are eliminated:

1.  South Kinnickinnic Avenue, northbound, at a point approximately 110 feet southeast of the intersection with South Williams Street.

2.  North Teutonia Avenue, northbound, at West Finn Place (southeast corner of intersection).

3.  North Teutonia Avenue, northbound, at West Keefe Avenue (southeast corner of intersection).

4.  North Hawley Road, northbound, at West Blue Mound Road (southeast corner of intersection)

; and

It is further moved, That the establishment of new bus stops at the following locations is authorized:

1.  South Kinnickinnic Avenue, northbound, at South Williams Street (southeast corner of intersection).

2.  North Teutonia Avenue, northbound, at West Keefe Avenue (on the traffic island on the east side of intersection).

3.  North Hawley Road, northbound, at a point approximately 80 feet north of the painted crosswalk over North Hawley Road at West Blue Mound Road (northeast corner of intersection).   

4.  West Woolworth Avenue, westbound, at a point approximately 150 feet west of the west right-of-way line of North Sherman Boulevard.

5.  North Lovers Lane Road, northbound, at a point approximately 365 feet south of the south right-of-way line of West Silver Spring Drive.

6.  West Keefe Avenue, westbound, at North 61^st Street (northeast corner of intersection).

7.  West Appleton Avenue, eastbound, at a point approximately 140 feet southeast of the east right-of-way line of North 60^th Street (southeast corner of intersection).

8.  West Appleton Avenue, westbound, at a point approximately 90 feet southeast of the south right-of-way line of West Center Street (south of first driveway south of West Center Street).

9.  West Appleton Avenue, eastbound, at West Center Street (northwest corner of intersection).

10.  South 27^th Street, southbound, at West Kimberly Avenue (northwest corner of intersection).

11.  North Lovers Lane Road, southbound, at a point approximately 315 feet north of the north right-of-way line of West Silver Spring Drive.
