Analysis
This resolution amends Common Council File #130051 relative to the acceptance and funding of Community Safety Data Repository Grant from the Wisconsin Partnership Program - University of Wisconsin-School of Medicine and Public Health. The goal of this project is to reduce violent crimes and violence in urban areas using interagency collaboration and culturally competent proactive strategies that increase protective factors and decrease risk factors.
 
Body
Whereas, Common Council File #130051 authorized the City of Milwaukee Health Department to accept and fund the Community Safety Data Repository Grant from the Wisconsin Partnership Program - University of Wisconsin-School of Medicine and Public Health in order to reduce violent crimes and violence in urban areas using interagency collaboration and culturally competent proactive strategies that increase protective factors and decrease risk factors. This grant provided for a Grantor share total of $400,000; and
 
Whereas, The total expenditures of this program have not changed, however the project budget has been amended; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to create the necessary Grant and Aid Project/Grant and Project/Grant level; budget against these Project/Grant values the amount required under the grant agreement; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That all standard resolved clauses articulated in Common Council File #130051 remain applicable; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the Common Council directs that the 2014 Positions Ordinance C.C. File Number 130420, should be amended as follows:
