Title
Substitute resolution approving construction of nonassessable public improvement projects at various locations.
Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, The funding for the following project be revised as follows:
6th Aldermanic District
N. Commerce St. (West Side) – E. Vine St. Stairway to a point north of the E. Vine St. Stairway (ST32001201/TD02284019) File Number 000018: Install concrete walk. (Congestion Mitigation/Air Quality (CMAQ) Grant -- $16,000; TID Funds -- $4,000); and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

N. 27th St. – W. Highland Ave. to W. Juneau Ave. (SM495010519) File Number 000372: Combined sewers lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $846,000)

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
