This resolution will accept reservations for public street purposes, thereby opening them for public street purposes.
 
 
BODY:
Whereas, Reservations for public street purposes were created by Warranty Deed dated September 23, 1957 recorded as Document Number 3610140 in Volume 3745 Page 231 on September 25, 1957, Warranty Deed dated May 9, 1959 recorded as Document Number 3735515 in Volume 3928 Page 200 on May 20, 1959, Warranty Deed dated July 13, 1959 recorded as Document Number 3749480 in Volume 3948 Page 258 on July 17, 1959 and Warranty Deed dated April 14, 1965 recorded as Document Number 4173216 in Reel 243 Image 717 on April 26, 1965; and
 
Whereas, A water main is scheduled to be constructed in this area as part of the 1998 program; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the following described parcels of land, which have been reserved for public street purposes, hereby are declared open for such purposes:
 
Parcel 1 The West 27.00 feet of that part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 31, Township 8 North, Range 21 East, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said 1/4 Section; thence Northerly, along the west line of said 1/4 Section, 257.56 feet to a point; thence East, as measured normal to said west line, 230.0 feet to a point; thence Southerly, parallel to said west line, 247.72 feet to a point in the south line of said 1/4 Section; thence Westerly, along said south line, 230.21 feet to the point of commencement, excepting therefrom the southerly 45.00 feet and the westerly 33.00 feet previously opened for public street purposes.
 
Parcel 2 The West 27.00 feet of that part of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 31, Township 8 North, Range 21 East, described as follows: Commencing at the southwest corner of said 1/4 Section; thence Northerly, along the west line of said 1/4 Section, 257.56 feet to the point of beginning of the land to be described; thence Northerly, along said west line, 290.0 feet to a point; thence East, as measured normal to said west line, 230.0 feet to a point; thence Southerly, parallel to said west line, 290.0 feet to a point; thence Westerly, 230.0 feet to the point of beginning, excepting therefrom the westerly 33.00 feet previously opened for public street purposes; and, be it
 
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is hereby directed to have a certified copy of this resolution recorded in the office of the Register of Deeds of Milwaukee County.
