Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

W. Galena St. - Vacated N. 2nd St. to N. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. (SM495250022) File Number 241616: Combined sewer lining. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $457,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $477,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.

W. Arthur Ave. - S. 30th St. to S. 31st St. (SM495240054) File Number 241329: Relaying combined sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $186,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $201,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.
W. Grant St. - S. 36th St. to 300’+/- west of S. 36th St. (SM495240037) File Number 241191: Relaying sanitary sewer. (Nonassessable Sewer Maintenance Relay Fund -- $106,000). The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $121,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.

The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $154,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.

The total estimated cost for this project including the requested amount is $58,000. This project is anticipated to be completed during the 2025 construction season.

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Department of Public Works is authorized to use the funding as specified in the above description of work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
