Substitute ordinance relating to the change in zoning from Industrial (I/A/125), Manufacturing (M/A/125, M/B/85, M/C/60) and Local Business (L/A/85, L/B/60, L/C/60) to Commercial Service (CS/B/60), lands located north and south of West Wisconsin Avenue between North 37th Street and North 40th Street, in the 16th Aldermanic District.

Passage of this substitute ordinance will place the subject area in a zoning category that more appropriately reflects existing land use.
BODY:
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. There is hereby added to the Milwaukee Code a new section to read as follows:
Section 295-330(1).0004. The zoning map is hereby amended so as to change the zoning for the area bounded by the center line of West Wells Street; the center line of North 37th Street; the center line of West Wisconsin Avenue; and a line 550 feet west of the west line of North 37th Street from Industrial (1/A/125), Manufacturing (M/A/125, M/B/85, M/C/60) and Local Business (L/A/85, L/B/60, L/C/60) to Commercial Service (CS/B/60).
Also to change the zoning for the area bounded by the center line of West Wisconsin Avenue; the center line of North 36th Street; a line 150 feet north of the north line of West Michigan Street; and a line 165 feet east of the east line of North 38th Street from Local Business (L/A/85 and L/B/60) to Commercial Service (CS/B/60).
Also to change the zoning for the area bounded by the center line of North 38th Street; the center line of West Michigan Street; a line 328 feet west of the west line of North 36th Street; and a line 299 feet south of the south line of West Wisconsin Avenue from Local Business (L/B/60) to Commercial Service (CS/B/60).
Also to change the zoning for the area bounded by the center line of West Wisconsin Avenue; the center line of North 38th Street; the center line of West Michigan Street; and the center line of North 39th Street from Local Business (L/A/85 and L/B/60) and Manufacturing (M/C/60) to Commercial Service (CS/B/60).
Also to change the zoning for the area bounded by the center line of West Wisconsin Avenue; the center line of North 39th Street; the center line of West Clybourn Street, and a line 125 feet east of the east line of North 40th Street from Local Business (L/A/85 and L/B/60) and Manufacturing (M/C/60) to Commercial Service (CS/B/60).
