Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On west side of North Teutonia Avenue from a point 100 feet north of West North Avenue to a point 130 feet north thereof
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North Summit Avenue from the north curb line of East Hampshire Avenue to a point 55 feet north thereof at any time"
"On the south side of East Thomas Avenue from the west curb line of North Newhall Street to a point 140 feet west"
"On the north side of East Webster Place from the east curb line of North Prospect Avenue to a point 70 feet east thereof at any time"
"On the south side of West Manitoba Street from South 51st Street east to the alley"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Manitoba Street from South 50th Street to South 51st Street
On the east side of South 6th Street from a point 165 feet south of West National Avenue to a point 45 feet south thereof
On the west side of South 6th Street from a point 120 feet north of West Mineral Street to a point 40 feet north thereof
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 17th Street between West Olive and West Congress Streets from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On North 19th Place from West Hope Avenue to West Olive Street"
"On North 25th Street from West Hope Avenue to West Roosevelt Drive"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North 3rd Street from West Michigan Street to West Clybourn Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday
On the south side of West Bruce Street from South 5th Street to South 6th Street
Part 6. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 10th Street from West Center Street to West Locust Street"
Part 7. Section 101-24-2 of the Code relating to Tow Away Zones is amended by adding the following:
On East State Street from North Van Buren Street to North Prospect Avenue
Part 8. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking by striking the following:
"On West Walker Street from South 9th Street to South 10th Street"
Part 9. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking by adding the following:
In the area beginning at West Bruce Street and South 16th Street, east to I-94 expressway, south to West Washington Street, west to South Cesar E. Chavez Drive and north to West Bruce Street
On South 9th Street from West Bruce Street north to the dead end
On South 11th Street from West Bruce Street north to the dead end
On South 13th Street from West Bruce Street north to the dead end
On South Muskego Avenue from West Bruce Street north to the dead end
On West Virginia Street from I-94 expressway to South 9th Street
Part 10. Section 101-32-3-d-4 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North 3rd Street from West Clybourn Street to West Michigan Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday
