This resolution authorizes and directs the proper City officers to execute four Release of Sewer Easement documents.
BODY:
Whereas, On June 20, 1961, the City of Mil- waukee was granted Sewer Easement Number SE- 1521A, located in a portion of the vacated North/South alley west of North 5th Street from West Highland Avenue to 200 feet north of West Highland Avenue by Ambrosia Chocolate Company; and
Whereas, On June 20, 1961, the City of Mil- waukee was granted Sewer Easement Number SE- 1521B, located in a portion of the vacated North/South alley west of North 5th Street from 100 feet north of West Highland Avenue to 150 feet north of West Highland Avenue by Marie L. Schoenleber and Louise A. Schoen-leber; and
Whereas, On June 29, 1961, the City of Mil-waukee was granted Sewer Easement Number SE-1521C, located in a portion of the vacated North/South alley west of North 5th Street from 150 feet north of West Highland Avenue to 200 feet north of West Highland Avenue by Schoenleber Realty Corporation; and
Whereas, On May 3, 1966, the City of Milwaukee was granted Sewer Easement Number SE-1769, located in the vacated North/South alley west of North 5th Street from 200 feet north of West Highland Avenue to 270 feet north of West Highland Avenue by W.R. Grace and Company and Schoenleber Realty Corporation; and
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee conveyed the existing combined sewer located in said ease-ments on March 31, 1986; and
Whereas, Sewer Easements SE-1521A, SE-1521B, SE-1521C and SE-1769 are no longer required to protect the interest of the City of Milwaukee; now, therefore, be it
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to execute Sewer Easement Releases SER-1521A, SER-1521B, SER-1521C and SER-1769, copies of which are attached to this Common Council File No. 970720 and incorporated in this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it
Further Resolved, That after said Sewer Ease-ment Releases have been executed by the proper City officers, they shall be forwarded to the office of the City Attorney for approval as to execution and then to the office of City Real Estate for recording and proper distribution.
