Analysis
This resolution directs the installation and construction of certain public improvements which have been determined to be nonassessable by the Commissioner of Public Works.
Body
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, For projects SM498050001, SM498050002, and SM498050003 the Commissioner of Public Works is Authorized to enter into a professional services contract for the marketing/media campaign necessary to implement these projects; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Engineer and the Commissioner of Public Works are hereby authorized to negotiate and enter into an agreement with the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation for the City to undertake construction management duties on the following projects: W. Glendale Ave. Structure over the Lincoln Creek (ST30882401/BR30882401) (2978-07-70), and W. National Ave. (ST32010201/UR03394400) (2410-00-73-75); and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Engineer is authorized and directed to approve and make periodic payments to the State of Wisconsin, Department of Transportation after receipt of invoices from said State for the city's share of the costs for said projects: W. Glendale Ave. Structure over the Lincoln Creek (ST30882401/BR30882401) (2978-07-70), and W. National Ave. (ST32010201/UR03394400) (2410-00-73-75); and, be it
Further Resolved, That upon the completion of projects; W. Glendale Ave. Structure over the Lincoln Creek (ST30882401/BR30882401) (2978-07-70), and W. National Ave. (ST32010201/UR03394400) (2410-00-73-75) and a determination of the actual costs, it is understood that if the City of Milwaukee's share is less than the amount previously paid, the difference will be refunded to said City; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital Project/Grant accounts.
