This resolution accepts a Quit Claim Deed conveying land to the City of Milwaukee by Brewers Point Apartments, a Wisconsin General Partnership, to be used for the realignment of North Commerce Street between East Pleasant Street and North Holton Street.
 
 
BODY:
Whereas, The City of Milwaukee is desirous of acquiring a certain parcel of land owned by Brewers Point Apartments, a Wisconsin General Partnership, said land being needed for the realignment of North Commerce Street between East Pleasant Street and North Holton Street; and
 
Whereas, Michael L. Carnahan, a General Partner of Brewers Point Apartments, a Wisconsin General Partnership, has executed a Quit Claim Deed conveying their interest in that portion of land; and
 
Whereas, This deed has been approved by the Office of the City Attorney as to form and execution; now, therefore, be it
 
Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee, that the Quit Claim Deed executed by Michael L. Carnahan, a General Partner of Brewers Point Apartments, a Wisconsin General Partnership, conveying their interest in a certain parcel of land to the City of Milwaukee needed for the realignment of North Commerce Street between East Pleasant Street and North Holton Street are hereby accepted, subject to a satisfactory environmental audit of the property pursuant to Section 308-22.2.h. of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances, and that it be forwarded to the Department of City Development for completion of the environmental audit, recording and proper distribution.
