Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2020 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 190613 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 1EX, add the title of “Strong Babies Program Manager (8)(22)”
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 190613 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 7, 2020 - March 22, 2020):
Under Pay Range 1DX, add footnote designations “(3)” and “(9)” to the title of “Consumer Environmental Health Supervisor”.
Under Pay Range 1IX, add footnote designations “(2)” and “(9)” to the title of “Consumer Environmental Health Division Director”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 2 of ordinance File Number 190613 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 2DN, delete the title of “Public Health Social Worker (1)(19)”, add the title of “Public Health Social Worker 1 (1)(19)”, and add the following language under the range table:
“(11) Property Appraiser 2 is a promotional opportunity for Property Appraiser 1. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(12) Property Appraiser 3 is a promotional opportunity for Property Appraiser 1 and 2. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(13) Property Appraiser 4 is a promotional opportunity for all Property Appraiser titles. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(29) Property Appraiser 2 is a promotional opportunity for Property Appraiser 1. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(30) Property Appraiser 3 is a promotional opportunity for Property Appraiser 1 and 2. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(31) Property Appraiser 4 is a promotional opportunity for all Property Appraiser titles. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
Under Pay Range 2HN, delete the first “Annual Wage Rate” amount of “67,215.90” and replace it with “67,199.86” and add the following language under the range table:
“(3) Senior Property Appraiser 2 is a promotional opportunity for Senior Property Appraiser 1. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(4) Senior Property Appraiser 3 is a promotional opportunity for Senior Property Appraiser 1 and 2. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(5) Senior Property Appraiser 4 is a promotional opportunity for all Senior Property Appraiser titles. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(16) Senior Property Appraiser 2 is a promotional opportunity for Senior Property Appraiser 1. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(17) Senior Property Appraiser 3 is a promotional opportunity for Senior Property Appraiser 1 and 2. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
“(18) Senior Property Appraiser 4 is a promotional opportunity for all Senior Property Appraiser titles. The promotional increase shall be to the minimum rate of pay for this title.”
Part 4. Part 1, Section 9 of ordinance File Number 190613 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 9KN, delete the current “Wage Rate” and “Resident Wage Rate” amounts and replace with the following amounts, respectively:
“Hourly 14.68
Biweekly 1,174.19
Annual 30,528.94”
“Hourly 15.12
Biweekly 1,209.42
Annual 31,444.92”
Part 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 6. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 7, 2020 (March 22, 2020).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 7. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
