Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2001 rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service under control of the Common Council.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 2 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Salary Grade 007, add the title "Functional Applications Analyst 3/" with the following footnote: "3/ Recruitment is authorized up to the eighth step of the salary grade."
Under Salary Grade 009, add the title "Functional Applications Analyst-Senior 4/" with the following footnote: "4/ Recruitment is authorized up to the eighth step of the salary grade."
Under Salary Grade 011, add the title "Telecommunications Analyst-Project Leader 5/" with the following footnote: "5/ Recruitment is authorized up to the ninth step of the salary grade."
Part 2. Section 4 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 340, delete the title "Lead Offset Press Operator."
Part 3. Section 8 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 535, add the title "Production Designer II."
Under Pay Range 555, delete the title "Water Construction Coordinator."
Part 4. Section 9 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 606, add the title "Water Construction Coordinator."
Part 5. Section 25 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under Pay Range 978, add the footnote designation "8/" following the title "Electrical Mechanic" with the footnote to read: "8/ The employee in this title who is designated to hold the Type C Contractors Electrical License for the City in the Buildings and Fleet Division shall receive an additional $1.50 per hour."
Part 6. Section 24 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 8, 2000 - April 2, 2000):
Under Pay Range 960, add the title "Directional Boring Machine Operator/Worker, 40 hp and over."
Part 7. Section 25 of ordinance File Number 000507 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby further amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 8, 2000 - April 2, 2000):
Under Pay Range 974, add the footnote designation "3/" following the title "Electrical Worker" and add the following footnote "3/" to read: "Effective Pay Period 8, 2000, an employee who has completed the training period on the Directional Boring Machine, 40 hp and over, shall be paid a rate consistent with Pay Range 960, when assigned to work as the primary locator or primary operator with the Directional Boring Machine, 40 hp and over."
Part 8. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 9. The provisions Parts 6 and 7 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 8, 2000 (April 2, 2000).
The provisions of all other parts of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after the first day of the first pay period following passage and publication.
Part 10. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after passage and publication.
