Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-2 of the Code relating to No Stopping is amended by adding the following:
On the west side of South 26th Street from West Scott Street to a point 100 feet north at any time
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of West Kilbourn Avenue from North 37th Street to a point 75 feet west thereof at any time"
"On the west side of South 14th Street from the south curb line of West National Avenue to a point 100 feet south thereof at any time"
"On the east side of North Farwell Avenue from East Bradford Avenue to East Webster Place at any time"
"On the west side of North 20th Street from the south curb line of West Locust Street to a point 55 feet south of the south curb line of West Locust Street at any time"
"On the east side of North 26th Street from the north curb line of West North Avenue to the east/west alley north thereof at any time"
"On the east side of North 20th Street 20 feet north and 20 feet south of the first east/west alley south of West Lloyd Street"
"On the west side of North 13th Street from West Center Street to West Clarke Street at any time"
"On North 11th Street from West Tory Hill to West Wisconsin Avenue at any time"
"On the west side of North 5th Street from the north curb line of West Michigan Street to a point 60 feet north thereof at any time"
Part 3. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Farwell Avenue from a point 55 feet north of East Bradford Avenue to a point 20 feet further north
On the west side of North 55th Street from a point 240 feet south of West Vine Street to a point 130 feet further south on regular school days from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM
In the alley bounded by West Becher Street, West Rogers Street, South 7th Street and South 8th Street at any time
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Wisconsin Avenue from North 89th Street to North 90th Street from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
Part 5. Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On North Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive from West Brown Street to West Lloyd Street
Part 6. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On North 3rd Street from West Brown Street to West Lloyd Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
"On the west side of North 27th Street between West Fond du Lac Avenue and West Center Street from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM"
"On North 14th Street from West North Avenue to West Lloyd Street"
Part 7. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Eden Place in the 6600 block on regular school days 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
Part 8. Section 101-23-8 of the Code relating to Taxi Stands is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 4th Street from the north curb line of West Kilbourn Avenue to a point 100 feet north thereof at any time (4 cab stands)
Part 9. Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to Winter Parking Regulations is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of North Farwell Avenue from East Bradford Avenue to East Webster Place
Part 10. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Becher Street from South 24th Street to South 25th Street
On West Madison Street from South 12th Street to South 14th Street
On South 14th Street from West Rogers Street to West Becher Street
