Title

A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls.

Analysis

This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the City.

Body

The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:

Part 1.  Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of South Nevada Street from East Howard Avenue to a point 110 feet south from 3:00 PM to 12:00 AM

Part 2.  Section 101-23-4-c of the Code relating to One-Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Broadway from a point 170 feet north of East Wells Street to East Wells Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday”

Part 3.  Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Broadway from East Wells Street to East Kilbourn Avenue from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday

On the north side of West Greenfield Avenue from South Cesar E. Chavez Drive to South 17^th Street from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Except Sunday”

Part 4.  Section 101-23-4-e of the Code relating to Three-Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:

On East Clybourn Street from North Lincoln Memorial Drive to a point 500 feet east from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

On North Harbor Drive from North Lincoln Memorial Drive to East Clybourn Street from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM

On West St. Paul Avenue from North 15^th Street to North 17^th Street from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM Except Saturday and Sunday

Part 5.  Section 101-23-6 of the Code relating to Angle Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Broadway from East Kilbourn Avenue to East Wells Street”

Part 6.  Section 101-23-10-a of the Code relating to No Parking During Winter Months is amended by striking the following:

“On the south side of East Texas Avenue from East Oklahoma Avenue to South Superior Street”

“On the west side of South Lenox Street from East Russell Avenue to South Kinnickinnic Avenue”

Part 7.  Section 101-27-9 of the Code relating to Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:

On South Lenox Street from South Kinnickinnic Avenue to East Russell Avenue

Part 8.  Section 101-32-3-am of the Code relating to Twenty-five Minute Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Broadway from East Kilbourn Avenue south to a point 195 feet south from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday”

Part 9.  Section 101-32-3-c-4 of the Code relating to One-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On the west side of North Broadway from a point 170 feet north of East Wells Street to East Wells Street from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday thru Friday”

Part 10.  Section 101-32-3-d-2 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by striking the following:

“On West Greenfield Avenue from South Cesar Chavez Drive to South 17^th Street from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM except Sunday”

Part 11.  Section 101-32-3-d-3 of the Code relating to Two-Hour Meter Parking is amended by adding the following:

On the west side of North Broadway from East Wells Street to a point 160 feet north from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday thru Friday”
