BODY:
Whereas, The Common Council of the City of Milwaukee adopted preliminary resolutions determining it necessary and in the public interest to construct nonassessable improvements; and
Whereas, Plans, specifications and cost estimates have been prepared for the following described improvements:

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is authorized and directed to proceed with said work; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer such funds which are available for this purpose to the appropriate capital purpose subaccounts; and, be it
Further Resolved, That authority for sewer construction for project N. 29th St. from W. Meinecke Ave. to W. Center St. (811-0031-7) was initially obtained per Common Council File Number 971681, using the Expansion of Capacity Sewer Fund. Additional funds ($1,500,000) are needed because soil borings in the construction area revealed soils with large amounts of rock; this in turn increased the tunnelling/excavation costs; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer these additional funds ($1,500,000) from the Relief and Relay Parent Account 31-171---0001 to the Expansion of Capacity Sewer Parent Account 31-170---0001 for this purpose; and be it
Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is authorized and directed to transfer authorized borrowing estimated revenue in the amount of $1,500,000 from account 31-171---9002 to acount 31-170---9002.
