Analysis

This Resolution authorizes the Commissioner of Public Works to execute a revised Project Agreement with the WisDOT for design oversight and construction of the South 70^th Street Bridge over Canadian Pacific Railway / Hank Aaron State Trail.

Whereas, A project agreement has been requested and received from the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) to be executed by the City of Milwaukee for programming, design, and construction of the following bridge project with Federal and State aid under the 2017-2022 Local Bridge Program Sub Program #205:

Whereas, The Department of Public Works shall notify the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee of project cost overruns and changes in scope approved by the Department of Public Works; and

Resolved, By the Common Council of the City of Milwaukee that the Commissioner of Public Works is hereby authorized to execute agreements for the design oversight and construction of the aforementioned project with Federal and State aid under the Local Bridge Program, copies of which are attached and are incorporated into this resolution by reference as though set forth in full; and, be it

Further Resolved, That the City Comptroller is hereby authorized to transfer funds to the project grant chart field as follows:
