Analysis
Consistent with common council file number 060762, passed on October 24, 2006, which established uniform renewal, duplicate and late fees for various licenses and permits, this ordinance increases the fees for:
1. The filing of a late renewal application for a scale license, taximeter license, timing device license or vehicle tank or linear meter license, retailer petroleum license, bulk-plant meter license from $20 to $25.
2. The duplicate linear meter license, retail petroleum license, scale license, taximeter license, timing device license, vehicle tank or bulk plant license from $6 to $8.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 60-91-1-b and c of the code is amended to read:
60-91. Weighing and Measuring Device Licenses.
1. LINEAR METERS.
b. The fee for the filing of a late renewal application shall be [[$20]] >>$25<<.
c. The fee for a duplicate linear meter license is [[$6]] >>$8<<.
Part 2. Section 60-91-2-b and c of the code is amended to read:
2. RETAIL PETROLEUM METERS.
b. The fee for the filing of a late renewal application shall be [[$20]] >>$25<<.
c. The fee for a duplicate retail petroleum meter license is [[$6]] >>$8<<.
Part 3. Section 60-91-3-b and c of the code is amended to read:
3. SCALES.
b. The fee for the filing of a late renewal application is [[$20]] >>$25<<.
c. The fee for a duplicate scale license is [[$6]] >>$8<<.
Part 4. Section 60-91-4-b and c of the code is amended to read:
4. TAXIMETERS.
b. The fee for a filing of a late renewal application shall be [[$20]] >>$25<<.
c. The fee for a duplicate taximeter license is [[$6]] >>$8<<.
Part 5. Section 60-91-5-b and c of the code is amended to read:
5. TIMING DEVICES.
b. The fee for the filing of a late renewal application shall be [[$20]] >>$25<<.
c. The fee for a duplicate timing device license is [[$6]] >>$8<<.
Part 6. Section 60-91-6-b and c of the code is amended to read:
6. VEHICLE TANK AND BULK PLANT METERS.
