Title
A substitute ordinance relating to parking controls in various Aldermanic Districts.
Analysis
This ordinance establishes the above-mentioned parking requirements in various parts of the
City.
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the south side of West Bruce Street from South 9th Street to a point 50 feet west"
"On the west side of South 26th Street from a point 100 feet north of the north curb line of West National Avenue to a point 70 feet further north thereof from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the west side of South 27th Street from West Forest Home Avenue to West Arthur Avenue from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM"
"On the north side of West State Street from a point 120 feet west of the west curb line of North 54th Street to a point 35 feet further west thereof from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the west side of South 31st Street from West Mitchell Street to West Burnham Street from December 1 to March 1 except Sunday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM"
"On the east side of North 19th Street from West Chambers Street to West Hopkins Street from December 1 to March 1 except Sunday from 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM"
"On the east side of North 27th Street from West Garfield Avenue to West North Avenue from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM"
"On the east side of North 29th Street from West St. Paul Avenue to West Clybourn Street at any time"
Part 2. Section 101-23-3 of the Code relating to No Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the south side of West Bruce Street from South 9th Street to a point 145 feet west at any time
In the alley bounded by North Bremen Street, North Fratney Street, East Locust Street and East Chambers Street
On the west side of North 92nd Street from a point 100 feet north of West Blue Mound Road to West Michigan Street from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday
Part 3. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of South 16th Street from West Lincoln Avenue to the first east/west alley south thereof from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM except Saturday and Sunday"
"On South 35th Street from West Pierce Street to West National Avenue"
"On the west side of North 26th Street from West Meinecke Avenue to West Wright Street from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM on odd calendar dates except Saturday and Sunday"
"On the south side of West Canal Street from South Emmber Lane to South 16th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday"
"On South 7th Street from a point approximately 150 feet north of the north curb line of West Mitchell Street to West Lapham Street from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM"
Part 4. Section 101-23-4-d of the Code relating to Two Hour Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the north side of West Vliet Street from North 59th Street to North 60th Street from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM except Sunday
Part 5. Section 101-23-6 of the Code relating to Angle Parking is amended by striking the following:
"On the west side of North 29th Street from West St. Paul Avenue to West Clybourn Street"
Part 6. Section 101-23-6 of the Code relating to Angle Parking is amended by adding the following:
On the east side of South 2nd Street from a point 145 feet south of West Maple Street to the dead end
Part 7. Section 101-23-11 of the Code relating to Heavy Truck Parking Prohibited is amended by adding the following:
On South 76th Street from West Howard Avenue to West Waterford Avenue
Part 8. Section 101-27-3-b-1 of the Code relating to Alternate Side Night Parking Exceptions is amended by adding the following:
On West Scott Street from South 9th Street to South 11th Street
On South 7th Street from West Pierce Street to West National Avenue
On South 14th Street from West Becher Street to West Grant Street
On South 29th Street from West Scott Street to West Greenfield Avenue
