Title
A substitute ordinance to further amend the 2018 offices and positions in the City Service.
Analysis
This substitute ordinance changes the rates of pay in the following departments:
Dept. of Employee Relations, Health Dept., Library, Dept. of Public Works
Body
The Mayor and Common Council of the City of Milwaukee do ordain as follows:
Part 1. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows:
Under “Health Department, Family and Community Health Services Division, Men’s Health Program”, add designation “(W)” to one position of “Public Health Educator II (J)(L)(X)” and add footnote “(W)” to read as follows:
“(W) To expire 10/1/19 unless the Healthy Living with Diabetes Grant is extended. Partially funds one position of Public Health Educator.”
Part 2. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 1, 2018 - December 31, 2017):
Under “Library, Administrative Services Decision Unit, Office on Early Childhood Initiatives”, delete one position of “Early Childhood Director” and add one position of “Early Childhood Program Director”.
Part 3. Part 1, Section 1 of ordinance File Number 170681 relative to rates of pay of offices and positions in the City Service is hereby amended as follows (Effective Pay Period 9, 2018 - April 22, 2018):
Under “Department of Employee Relations, Employee Benefits Division”, delete one position of “Business Operations Analyst” and add one position of “Business Operations Specialist”.
Under “Department of Public Works - Operations Division, Sanitation Section”, delete one position of “Recycling Assistant” and add one position of “Sanitation Project Analyst”.
Part 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances contravening the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Part 5. The provisions of Part 2 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 1, 2018 (December 31, 2017).
Part 6. The provisions of Part 3 of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after Pay Period 9, 2018 (April 22, 2018).
The provisions of this ordinance are deemed to be in force and effect from and after its passage and publication.
Part 7. This ordinance will take effect and be in force from and after its passage and publication.
